+## Drain review repair and fresh stack gates

+The first broad stack refresh found #17576 Greptile finding 4370544173: dirty
+in-memory hints kept the coordinator's settled-write activity hold alive during
+drain. SQL silence alone had missed it. It failed a new real-PostgreSQL counter
+assertion before repair. The owning parent is fixed at 1b43332c74; all checks now
+pass and that review thread is resolved. Slice 22 carries the repair into its
+shared dispatcher at b2af095de2. Open/uncertain writes remain fenced centrally;
+settled hints and their next deadlines survive resume without holding idle active.

+The fix is propagated through #17580 (0aab051900), #17583 (c46bcbf9ff), #17586
