DottaandPaperclip 2a30219f19 Bound parallel copies when freezing native provider distributions ...

Keep descriptor, digest, identity, and immutable-file checks for every entry while
copying at most eight files and 32 MiB of buffers per batch. Larger admitted files
run alone. Await every copy before cleanup and preserve canonical manifest order.
