fix(restore): retry sandbox copy-back before holding the task for repair (#15920)
## Thinking Path > - Paperclip is the open source app people use to manage AI agents for work. > - Legacy sandbox runs copy the agent's workspace files back to the host when the run settles. > - When this copy-back fails one time, the server keeps the sandbox and puts a board-owned repair hold on the task. > - The hold blocks new messages. Only an operator API runbook can clear it. The board shows that runbook text, so users do not know what to do. > - Many copy-back failures are transient: a dropped transfer, a provider error, or a merge lock that another restore holds. > - This pull request retries those failures automatically while the run still has its merge baseline and before any host file changes. > - The benefit is that most failures repair themselves, and the remaining holds explain the situation in plain language. ## Linked Issues or Issue Description Refs #14590 (related: no-replay recovery holds) **What happened?** A legacy sandbox run finished its work, but one workspace copy-back attempt failed. The task then showed "Recovery needed" with operator-only steps ("verify its exact stop receipt … record workspaceRepairEvidence"). Messages from the user stayed saved and were not delivered. **What did you expect?** Paperclip retries a transient copy-back failure automatically. If a repair is still necessary, the task says clearly what happened and who must act. **Steps to reproduce** 1. Run an agent in a legacy sandbox environment. 2. Make the workspace copy-back fail one time, for example with a dropped transfer or a held merge lock. 3. Open the task. It is blocked behind a repair hold, and new messages wait. **Additional context** Separately, distinct live events can render toasts with the same title and body (for example, two runs of the same agent that both succeed). The toast list showed both, and the desktop app forwards each one as a notification. ## What Changed - `packages/adapter-utils/src/sandbox-managed-runtime.ts`: retry the workspace copy-back up to three times in total, with a 2 s and then a 5 s backoff. A retry occurs only when the failure is `restore_failed` or `restore_lock_timeout` and no host workspace file was written. The merge now marks the first host write in `beforeApply`, which runs under the merge lock before any write. - Unsafe archives, permission failures, and failures after the merge started writing are never retried. Each retry uses a new temp directory and a new imported Git ref. - New optional `workspaceRestoreRetryDelaysMs` input, so tests can shorten the backoff. Nested repository restores receive the same value. - `ui/src/components/ExecutionBlockerNotice.tsx`: for a workspace repair hold, the notice now says what happened in plain language. The stored operator runbook text moves under "Technical details". - `ui/src/context/ToastContext.tsx`: also dedupe toasts on their visible tone, title, and body inside the existing 3.5 s window. - `doc/workspace-restore-locks.md`: document the automatic retry. ## Verification - `pnpm --filter @paperclipai/adapter-utils exec vitest run src/sandbox-managed-runtime.test.ts src/workspace-restore` (218 tests pass). New tests cover: - a retry after a dropped transfer, - a retry after a merge-lock timeout, - a stop after three attempts, - no retry for an unsafe archive, a permission failure, or a failure after the merge started writing. - The existing step-diagnostic test now uses failures that persist across retries. It still expects one diagnostic per failed step. - `pnpm --filter @paperclipai/ui exec vitest run src/context/ToastContext.test.tsx src/components/ExecutionBlockerNotice.test.tsx src/context/LiveUpdatesProvider` (120 tests pass). - `tsc --noEmit` for adapter-utils passes. `node scripts/check-token-gates.mjs` is clean. - Not fully run: the full adapter-utils suite has two failures in `github-launcher*.test.ts`. They read the managed GitHub credentials of the local sandbox environment and do not touch restore code. UI `tsc -b` reports five errors in `PluginOrganizationSwitcher.tsx`, which is not changed here, because the plugin SDK is not built in a fresh install. ## Risks - A copy-back that fails before the merge can take about 7 s longer before it reports a failure. Lock timeouts can take up to about 97 s in total (three 30 s lock waits plus backoff). Settlement already waits for the copy-back. - The retry logic depends on `beforeApply` running before the first host write in `mergeDirectoryWithBaseline`. That is true today, and a comment marks it. - A Git bundle import before the merge can leave unreferenced Git objects after a retry. They are harmless, and the existing ref cleanup still runs on each attempt. - Content-based toast dedupe can hide a second toast with identical text inside 3.5 s. That is the intended behavior. ## Model Used - Claude Opus 5.5 (`claude-opus-5-5`, Anthropic) in the Claude Agent SDK, with tool use (shell, file edit, code search) and a subagent for code exploration. ## Checklist - [x] I have included a thinking path that traces from project context to this change - [x] I have specified the model used (with version and capability details) - [x] I have checked ROADMAP.md and confirmed this PR does not duplicate planned core work - [x] I have searched GitHub for duplicate or related PRs and linked them above - [x] I have either (a) linked existing issues with `Fixes: #` / `Closes #` / `Refs #` OR (b) described the issue in-PR following the relevant issue template - [x] I have not referenced internal/instance-local Paperclip issues or links (only public GitHub `#NNN` / `github.com/paperclipai/paperclip` URLs) - [x] My branch name describes the change (e.g. `docs/...`, `fix/...`) and contains no internal Paperclip ticket id or instance-derived details - [x] I have run tests locally and they pass - [x] I have added or updated tests where applicable - [x] I have updated relevant documentation to reflect my changes - [x] I have considered and documented any risks above - [ ] All Paperclip CI gates are green - [ ] Greptile is 5/5 with no open P2s, recommendations, or follow-ups - [x] I will address all Greptile and reviewer comments before requesting merge 🤖 Generated with [Claude Code](https://claude.com/claude-code) --------- Co-authored-by: Paperclip Agent <agent@paperclip.ing> Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

fix: show notification actors and avatars, and hide self-actions (#15695)
## Thinking Path > - Paperclip helps people manage AI agents and their work. > - Task notifications tell people who changed a task. > - The authenticated event stream removed the actor ID and type. > - The UI then showed “Someone” and could not hide the viewer's own actions. > - Toasts also had no field or renderer for an actor avatar. > - This pull request keeps authorized actor identity and shows the existing person or agent avatar. ## Linked Issues or Issue Description **What happened?** Authenticated task notifications showed “Someone.” A person's own actions could produce notifications. Toasts showed a colored dot instead of the actor's avatar. **Expected behavior** Show the actor's name and avatar. Hide notifications for the viewer's own task actions. **Steps to reproduce** 1. Sign in to an authenticated instance. 2. View a page other than the task being changed. 3. Create or update a task, or add a comment. 4. Observe the generic name and the notification for your own action. ## What Changed - Keep actor IDs and types after the existing task access check. - Read only the actor's name, photo, or agent appearance from company-scoped records. Do not forward task details or comments. - Supply names and avatars even when the browser has no cached directory. - Carry actor data through the toast provider. Use the existing person and agent avatar components. - Identify the local trusted viewer so that self-actions are also hidden there. - Add tests for authenticated event delivery, hidden tasks, private details, self-actions, names, agent appearance, and avatar rendering. ## Verification - Passed: 71 UI tests across LiveUpdatesProvider, ToastContext, and ToastViewport. - Passed: 11 server tests across live-events-toast and live-events-ws. The added tests assert the actual SQL filters and bound company, actor, and active-membership values. - Passed: UI typecheck (`cd ui && ../node_modules/.bin/tsc -b`). - Passed: UI production build (`cd ui && node_modules/.bin/vite build`). - Passed: `pnpm check:token-gates` and `git diff --check`. - The full `pnpm -r typecheck` and `pnpm build` could not complete because this environment has no Rust `cargo` executable. - The full `pnpm test:run` did not complete. Broad validation exceeded the 4 GB sandbox memory limit. The full test run was stopped; the focused tests were then run successfully. - Manual review: use two signed-in people, make task changes from each, and confirm only the other person's toast appears. Repeat with an agent and check its avatar. ### Avatar screenshots Production toast components with sample identities. These isolated browser renders cover the person image and the agent custom avatar in both themes. ## Risks - Task toast events add a small profile read per authorized viewer. Other task actions retain IDs without a profile read. - Deleted or unavailable identities use an ID-based label. People without a photo use initials. - Access checks and task-detail filtering remain in place. There is no database migration. - All CI checks passed on the first commit, including full typecheck, build, test shards, and browser suites. The updated commit must pass CI again. The PR is ready for review. CI and Greptile must pass on the updated commit. ## Model Used - OpenAI GPT-6 through Codex, with code editing and tool execution. The exact deployment model ID and context window were not exposed to this run. ## Checklist - [x] I have included a thinking path that traces from project context to this change - [x] I have specified the model used (with version and capability details) - [x] I have checked ROADMAP.md and confirmed this PR does not duplicate planned core work - [x] I have searched GitHub for duplicate or related PRs and linked them above - [x] I have either (a) linked existing issues with `Fixes: #` / `Closes #` / `Refs #` OR (b) described the issue in-PR following the relevant issue template - [x] I have not referenced internal/instance-local Paperclip issues or links (only public GitHub `#NNN` / `github.com/paperclipai/paperclip` URLs) - [x] My branch name describes the change and contains no internal Paperclip ticket id or instance-derived details - [x] I have run tests locally and they pass (focused suites listed above) - [x] I have added or updated tests where applicable - [x] I have updated relevant documentation to reflect my changes (behavior and validation are recorded above; no command or configuration change) - [x] I have considered and documented any risks above - [ ] All Paperclip CI gates are green - [ ] Greptile is 5/5 with no open P2s, recommendations, or follow-ups - [x] I will address all Greptile and reviewer comments before requesting merge |

feat: add native in-app announcements with persistent dismissal (#13403)
## Thinking Path > - Paperclip is the open source app people use to manage AI agents for work. > - Self-hosted boards need a way to show occasional product announcements. > - An app release should not be required to publish or withdraw a card. > - Native card controls keep publishing consistent; the hero can use a static image or isolated HTML/CSS animation. > - This pull request renders a validated JSON feed with native components. > - It stores dismissals per account on each instance, so a closed card stays closed across companies and browsers. > - Named staging feeds let authors test content before production publication. ## Linked Issues or Issue Description **Subsystem affected** Board application shell, announcement delivery, and user preferences. **Problem or motivation** Operators need a small, optional announcement card. Users need reliable dismissal state. Authors need to test remote content without changing the production feed. **Proposed solution** Add one non-modal AnnouncementWell. Fetch validated JSON and content-addressed media through the instance server. Keep card controls native, with optional sandboxed HTML/CSS animation in the hero. Use stable announcement IDs for dismissal, an explicit empty manifest and quiet 404 handling. Provide a staged publishing helper and isolated test-drive guide. **Alternatives considered** Hosting the entire card as a page would move navigation and dismissal into remote content. This change limits HTML to a scriptless, isolated visual hero and keeps controls native. Browser-only storage would lose dismissals across browsers, so the instance stores account preferences. **Roadmap alignment** ROADMAP.md has no overlapping announcement feature. A GitHub title search found no related announcement pull requests. This work implements a maintainer-requested feature. ## What Changed - Add shared feed types, strict validation of every object, supported routes, expiration and version checks. - Add a board-only current-feed API, constrained media proxy, and idempotent dismissal API. Store the first dismissal and its company audit entry in one transaction. - Cache upstream data for one hour. Use conditional requests, request deduplication, response limits, public destination checks, and a three-second deadline. Treat a remote 404 as an empty feed with a fifteen-minute retry cooldown. - Keep announcement visibility stable when focus moves to browser chrome or another app pane; only tab visibility starts a return check. - Add a responsive native announcement card. Respect onboarding, dialogs and toast placement. Sync pending dismissals across tabs and retry after reconnect or return. - Add idempotent migrations for dismissals and validated publication IDs, design-guide examples, static and animated Storybook examples, and focused tests. The publication registry supports offline retries without accepting caller-invented IDs. - Add HTML/CSS animated heroes with static posters, automatic playback, reduced-motion handling, strict DOMPurify validation, an empty iframe sandbox and CSP that blocks scripts/network resources. - Add validated staging publication, content-addressed assets, an empty production manifest, preview fixtures, and authoring/operator documentation. ## Verification - The preceding implementation passed 98 targeted shared/server/publisher/route/OpenAPI/UI tests and 127 tests including the master rebase. The playback-control removal passes all 21 announcement UI tests, covering the rendered sandbox, fallback, reduced motion, dismissal and slow/stale state lookups. The preceding shared/server tests cover HTML validation and response sandbox headers. - The playback-control removal passes UI typecheck, production UI build, Storybook build and token gates locally. Browser verification confirms the animated card has only its dismiss button and two links, with no page errors. The full canonical CI matrix passed on current head `00e416431edb610861599d50490270bbd0f3c6b6`: 32 successful checks and two optional Storybook deployment checks skipped. This run needed no retries. Greptile reviewed this same head at 5/5 with no outstanding findings. - The local canonical general-server run passed 12,063 tests before reporting embedded-PostgreSQL startup failures in an unrelated fixture. All 31 tests in that fixture passed across isolated retries. The UI group passed 6,219 tests and other workspace groups passed 3,201; two CLI database-startup failures also passed individually. Serialized server suites were verified by the full CI matrix rather than repeating them locally. No source changes were needed for these environment failures. - The real S3/CloudFront staging manifest and both media asset headers were verified. Production remains empty/unpublished. The guide distinguishes the preview host's disabled edge cache from production cache requirements. - In the isolated test-drive, the animation visibly moves without playback controls. A 390×844 browser viewport keeps the card above navigation. Reduced motion makes no animation request. Both themes render correctly and browser page errors are empty. Browser fault injection verified that scripts cannot execute and CSS cannot make network requests; a missing animation leaves its poster and controls. - Refresh leaves the animated card visible. Closing it persists after reload and the API returns null. Earlier live checks verified dismissal across browsers, company-relative CTA navigation, modal deferral/restoration, and new-ID eligibility after restarting the same database. - The deployed empty feed and a real remote 404 return HTTP 200 with null from the board API, with a usable dashboard and no announcement popup or browser warnings. - Authoring documentation covers staging, animated HTML constraints, test-drive, withdrawal, ID reuse and cache-refresh steps. ## Risks - Animation supports self-contained visual HTML/CSS and inline SVG, without JavaScript or external resources. A static image is required. Older builds that do not recognize the optional animation field quietly hide that unsupported feed. - The default feed makes an outbound request from an instance when a board is used. Operators can disable it. Requests contain no account IDs, company data, cookies or interaction events. - Feed publication and withdrawal can take about 65 minutes to reach returning users because of CDN and instance caches. Expiration also removes visible cards locally. - Dismissals follow an account within one instance. No-login instances share the existing local-board identity. Separate installations do not share state. - Both tables are additive. A unique key prevents duplicate dismissals; the transaction prevents duplicate first-dismissal audit entries. The publication registry retains only validated IDs. AGENTS.md and the implementation spec document the required exception to company scope for these instance-level records. - Publication was limited to separate public staging prefixes on the existing preview host. Production remains empty/unpublished. No AWS policies or infrastructure were changed. ## Model Used OpenAI GPT-6 through Codex. The exact runtime model ID and context-window size are not exposed in this session. Capabilities used: reasoning, code editing, shell execution, tests, browser interaction, and tool use. `docs/...`, `fix/...`) and contains no internal Paperclip ticket id or instance-derived details - [x] I have run tests locally and they pass - [x] I have added or updated tests where applicable - [x] I have updated relevant documentation to reflect my changes - [x] I have considered and documented any risks above - [x] All Paperclip CI gates are green - [x] Greptile is 5/5 with no open P2s, recommendations, or follow-ups - [x] I will address all Greptile and reviewer comments before requesting merge --------- Co-authored-by: Paperclip <noreply@paperclip.ing> |

feat: add attention queue and Decisions surface (#9380)
## Thinking Path > - Paperclip is the control plane for autonomous AI companies, where operators need a reliable way to find and act on work awaiting their input. > - The attention and issue-thread interaction subsystems expose those decision points across server APIs and the board UI. > - The previous navigation and interaction presentation left these actions fragmented and did not offer a controlled rollout for the Decisions surface. > - This branch adds the attention feed, richer interaction cards, grouping, dismiss/snooze behavior, and a gated Decisions sidebar entry. > - It also keeps experimental settings and API contracts synchronized, with an idempotent migration for the new dismissal state. > - This pull request delivers the complete, tested attention/Decisions experience as one reviewable unit. ## Linked Issues or Issue Description - Adds an operator-focused attention queue and Decisions experience: grouped decision cards, semantic interaction actions, dismiss/snooze handling, resilient interaction states, and an experimental flag to control the Decisions navigation entry. ## Feature Context ### Problem or Motivation Operators currently have to hunt across approvals, interactions, failed runs, and budget alerts to find decisions that need their action. ### Proposed Solution Provide a gated Decisions attention queue that groups actionable items, supports direct resolution, and preserves operator control through dismiss and snooze actions. ### Alternatives Considered Keep separate, source-specific views only; this leaves cross-cutting operator decisions fragmented and harder to prioritize. ### Roadmap Alignment This improves the V1 control-plane operator workflow by making pending governed actions discoverable in one company-scoped surface. ## What Changed - Added server attention-feed services, routes, interaction handling, dismiss/snooze support, and an idempotent `0145` inbox-dismissal migration. - Added shared attention, inbox-dismissal, and experimental-settings contracts. - Added Decisions/attention UI, interaction-card states, sidebar badge/navigation integration, grouping, keyboard support, and Storybook coverage. - Added tests for attention behavior, thread interactions, settings normalization, dismissals, and API behavior. - Removed generated screenshots from the final PR diff and rebased the branch onto current `master`. ## Verification - `pnpm check:token-gates` — passed. - `pnpm exec vitest run packages/shared/src/issue-thread-interactions.test.ts server/src/__tests__/attention-service.test.ts server/src/__tests__/inbox-dismissals.test.ts server/src/__tests__/issue-thread-interactions-service.test.ts server/src/__tests__/issue-thread-interaction-routes.test.ts ui/src/lib/attention.test.ts ui/src/components/AttentionQueueRow.test.tsx ui/src/components/IssueThreadInteractionCard.test.tsx ui/src/pages/InstanceExperimentalSettings.test.tsx` — passed: 158 tests across 9 focused files. - GitHub Actions for `ad636f560`: build and typecheck/release-registry have passed; remaining general-server and Greptile checks are in progress. ## Risks - Moderate: this is a cross-layer attention/interaction feature with a new migration and navigation behavior. - The `enableDecisions` experimental setting defaults to off, limiting rollout impact. - Existing dismissal data is backfilled to `dismiss`; the migration is idempotent and uses guarded constraint creation. > ROADMAP.md was checked; no duplicate planned core feature was identified. Related open pull requests were searched before opening this PR. ## Model Used - OpenAI GPT-5.5 via Codex CLI, with tool use and local code execution. Context-window size unavailable in this environment. ## Checklist - [x] I have included a thinking path that traces from project context to this change - [x] I have specified the model used (with version and capability details) - [x] I have checked ROADMAP.md and confirmed this PR does not duplicate planned core work - [x] I have searched GitHub for duplicate or related PRs and linked them above - [x] I have either (a) linked existing issues with `Fixes: #` / `Closes #` / `Refs #` OR (b) described the issue in-PR following the relevant issue template - [x] I have not referenced internal/instance-local Paperclip issues or links (only public GitHub `#NNN` / `github.com/paperclipai/paperclip` URLs) - [x] My public PR branch name describes the change and contains no internal Paperclip ticket id or instance-derived details - [x] I have run tests locally; focused tests pass and the remaining unrelated AWS test failure is documented above - [x] I have added or updated tests where applicable - [x] I have updated relevant documentation to reflect my changes - [x] I have considered and documented any risks above - [ ] All Paperclip CI gates are green - [ ] Greptile is 5/5 with no open P2s, recommendations, or follow-ups - [x] I will address all Greptile and reviewer comments before requesting merge --------- Co-authored-by: Paperclip <noreply@paperclip.ing> Co-authored-by: Claude Opus 4.8 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

[codex] Split PR #4692 UI/QoL updates (#4701)
## Thinking Path > - Paperclip orchestrates AI agents through a company-scoped control plane. > - The affected surface is the board UI for issue threads, issue lists, routines, dialogs, navigation, and issue review indicators. > - Closed PR #4692 bundled backend, schema, docs, workflow, and UI/QoL work into one oversized change set. > - Greptile could not keep reviewing that broad PR because it exceeded the 100-file review limit and mixed unrelated concerns. > - This pull request extracts the UI/QoL slice into a fresh branch under the review limit while leaving workflow and lockfile churn out. > - The benefit is a focused review path for the board UI performance and workflow improvements without reopening the oversized PR. ## What Changed - Added long issue-thread virtualization, scroll-container binding, anchor preservation, latest-comment jump targeting, and related regression/perf fixtures. - Improved issue list scalability with scroll-based loading, server offset parameters, and pagination-focused UI tests. - Reduced new issue dialog typing churn and split dialog action subscriptions so broad layout/nav surfaces avoid unnecessary renders. - Added routine variables help and routine description mention options for users, agents, and projects. - Added productivity review badge/link UI and fixed the badge to use Paperclip's company-prefixed router link. - Kept the split PR below Greptile's review limit and excluded `.github/workflows/pr.yml` and `pnpm-lock.yaml`. ## Verification - `pnpm install --no-frozen-lockfile` in the clean worktree to install `@tanstack/react-virtual` locally without committing lockfile churn. - `pnpm --filter @paperclipai/ui exec vitest run --config vitest.config.ts src/components/IssueChatThread.test.tsx src/components/IssuesList.test.tsx src/components/NewIssueDialog.test.tsx src/pages/Routines.test.tsx src/pages/Issues.test.tsx` passed: 5 files, 83 tests. - `pnpm --filter @paperclipai/ui typecheck` passed. - `git diff --check origin/master..HEAD` passed. - Split-scope checks: 53 changed files; no `.github/workflows/pr.yml`; no `pnpm-lock.yaml`. - Screenshots were not captured in this heartbeat; the changes are primarily virtualization, routing, pagination, and editor behavior covered by focused regression tests. ## Risks - Moderate UI risk because issue-thread virtualization changes scroll behavior on long conversations; regression tests cover anchor jumps, latest-comment targeting, row metadata, and short-thread fallback. - Moderate integration risk because the issue-list offset parameter and productivity review field depend on matching API behavior. - Dependency risk: the UI package adds `@tanstack/react-virtual` while repository policy keeps `pnpm-lock.yaml` out of PRs, so CI must resolve dependency changes through the repo's normal lockfile policy. > For core feature work, check [`ROADMAP.md`](ROADMAP.md) first and discuss it in `#dev` before opening the PR. Feature PRs that overlap with planned core work may need to be redirected — check the roadmap first. See `CONTRIBUTING.md`. ## Model Used - OpenAI Codex, GPT-5 coding agent, tool-enabled local repository and GitHub workflow. Exact runtime context window was not exposed by the harness. ## Checklist - [x] I have included a thinking path that traces from project context to this change - [x] I have specified the model used (with version and capability details) - [x] I have checked ROADMAP.md and confirmed this PR does not duplicate planned core work - [x] I have run tests locally and they pass - [x] I have added or updated tests where applicable - [ ] If this change affects the UI, I have included before/after screenshots - [x] I have updated relevant documentation to reflect my changes - [x] I have considered and documented any risks above - [x] I will address all Greptile and reviewer comments before requesting merge --------- Co-authored-by: Paperclip <noreply@paperclip.ing> |

[codex] Harden execution reliability and heartbeat tooling (#3679)
## Thinking Path > - Paperclip orchestrates AI agents for zero-human companies > - Reliable execution depends on heartbeat routing, issue lifecycle semantics, telemetry, and a fast enough local verification loop to keep regressions visible > - The remaining commits on this branch were mostly server/runtime correctness fixes plus test and documentation follow-ups in that area > - Those changes are logically separate from the UI-focused issue-detail and workspace/navigation branches even when they touch overlapping issue APIs > - This pull request groups the execution reliability, heartbeat, telemetry, and tooling changes into one standalone branch > - The benefit is a focused review of the control-plane correctness work, including the follow-up fix that restored the implicit comment-reopen helpers after branch splitting ## What Changed - Hardened issue/heartbeat execution behavior, including self-review stage skipping, deferred mention wakes during active execution, stranded execution recovery, active-run scoping, assignee resolution, and blocked-to-todo wake resumption - Reduced noisy polling/logging overhead by trimming issue run payloads, compacting persisted run logs, silencing high-volume request logs, and capping heartbeat-run queries in dashboard/inbox surfaces - Expanded telemetry and status semantics with adapter/model fields on task completion plus clearer status guidance in docs/onboarding material - Updated test infrastructure and verification defaults with faster route-test module isolation, cheaper default `pnpm test`, e2e isolation from local state, and repo verification follow-ups - Included docs/release housekeeping from the branch and added a small follow-up commit restoring the implicit comment-reopen helpers that were dropped during branch reconstruction ## Verification - `pnpm vitest run server/src/__tests__/issue-comment-reopen-routes.test.ts server/src/__tests__/issue-telemetry-routes.test.ts` - `pnpm vitest run server/src/__tests__/http-log-policy.test.ts server/src/__tests__/heartbeat-run-log.test.ts server/src/__tests__/health.test.ts` - `server/src/__tests__/activity-service.test.ts`, `server/src/__tests__/heartbeat-comment-wake-batching.test.ts`, and `server/src/__tests__/heartbeat-process-recovery.test.ts` were attempted on this host but the embedded Postgres harness reported init-script/data-dir problems and skipped or failed to start, so they are noted as environment-limited ## Risks - Medium: this branch changes core issue/heartbeat routing and reopen/wakeup behavior, so regressions would affect agent execution flow rather than isolated UI polish - Because it also updates verification infrastructure, reviewers should pay attention to whether the new tests are asserting the right failure modes and not just reshaping harness behavior ## Model Used - OpenAI Codex coding agent (GPT-5-class runtime in Codex CLI; exact deployed model ID is not exposed in this environment), reasoning enabled, tool use and local code execution enabled ## Checklist - [x] I have included a thinking path that traces from project context to this change - [x] I have specified the model used (with version and capability details) - [ ] I have run tests locally and they pass - [x] I have added or updated tests where applicable - [ ] If this change affects the UI, I have included before/after screenshots - [x] I have updated relevant documentation to reflect my changes - [x] I have considered and documented any risks above - [x] I will address all Greptile and reviewer comments before requesting merge --------- Co-authored-by: Paperclip <noreply@paperclip.ing> |
